*LIPS*

Don't bolt with a tissue, this is because a tissue is made up of wood fibers. Use a coffee filter instead and you won't have all that gunk on your lips when your finished You'll be very happy with the results at the end, and when your finished just toss it.

Find a lip-liner you totally love. Put it on all across your bottom lip and some on your top lip. Then put some lip balm, clear gloss or a hint of color. A totally cute new creation that you must have to like.

After apply gloss or lipstick put a little white eyeshadow in the center of your lower lip. Rub your lips together till you get a subtle look. It gives your mouth a full, sexy, pouty look. To get the excess lipstick off your lips and or teeth make an "o' shape with your mouth and put your finger in it and pull it out slowly. It really works.!

Lipstick colors by skin color:

dark skin= plum, violet, chocolate, and brick red

medium skin=all reds, brown, mauve, and spicy browns.

light skin=peach, beige, corals, brown-pink, and magenta.

fair skin=pastel pink, sheer purples, and crystal rose.

Pick the right color! Choose a shade based on your skin coloring. Lighter berries for light skin types and deeper berries for darker skin types. If your complexion is cool tone, you'll look better in mavue or plum shades. If your complexion is pink, you'll look better in blue tone pinks, blue tone reds, and purple shades, while girls with yellow tones are flattered by warmer reds that have a brown base. Warm skin types will also look excellent in classic orange shades, such as amber. Peach and Coral lipstick should be reserved for Light and Warm skin types. Purples and most Pink lipsticks should be reserved for Cool skin types that are Light or Fair. Deep cool complexions look most flattering in Violet hued berry shades. Deep complexions that are Warm look excellent in a Brick Red or Deep Rust shades.

You may be saying to yourself, this all sounds confusing, but it doesn't have to be! The key is too remember warm or cool. Reserve pinks, purples, and blues for cool skin. Reserve brown, brown-pinks, oranges, and warm reds (such as Scarlet) for warm complexions. Now that you know your correct colors, all you have too do is decide how intense of a shade you should wear, depending on how fair or how deep your complexion is.

Deep and Tan skin types can go for drama. The dark features allow a heavier look. Be glamoures, and have fun with it. Medium skin types fall right in the middle. You're lucky. You can wear a plethora of shades ad combinations. All though you do best with an "Earthy" look. Light skin types need too keep it fresh and natural. Go for warmer tones that brighten your features. It will make you appear soft and inviting. Fair skin types need a majestic look. Paint with a light hand in cosmic shades, such as pinks and purples. You pull off the delicate, ethereal look better than anyone else. Remember sheer touches of cool colors.

How to Wear Red Lipstick

Red is a classic
Red is divine on medium, tan, and deep skin colors. Wear a true red if your skin is light or fair, for extreme drama. Line inside of lips Red lipstick tends to bleed, so fill in lips with lip liner . Go light on the eyes, polish, and the blush. Try light or clear colors so not to over power the red lips. Your lips should stand out only.

Red and Berries are universal, they come in an assortment of Cool and Warm tones. For these try on samples before you buy, to find the right pick for you.
Cool skined blondes look excellent in petal pinks. Cool skinned brunettes look divoon in lavenders, and sheer purples. Warm skinned blondes look superb in peaches and corals. Warm skinned brunettes look a knock-out in a crimson red or sultry rose. Redheads are fascinating in orangy browns.

Fair skinned people shoud opt for a Rose shade when wearing a red lipstick. Unlike the other complexions, true reds will look ghastly on delicate complexions. You want a crystal rose or tea rose.

If you have any questions on beauty? IE: How to put on a make up applications, what colors would look good on your skin type/color.* Or whatever you want to ask, I'll answer it ! You may do so bye leaving a comment. Thanks.

Best Eye Color

What colors are best for your eyes? I would say smoky grays are best for hazel but you can really use anything. If you want to make your eyes pop use the opposite spectrum trick. Purple or pink that's best for green eyes. Blue that's for brown eyes and lastly but not least brown, orange, or gray that is best for blue eyes.

Using white eye liner, off white shimmer silver or gold fleck near your tear ducts of your eyes will also brighten your eyes. Fair skin (if cool toned) use a champagne color. If your warm tone use a warm color of off white and if cool toned use a white silver. Be careful with the type of orange you use with blue eyes.

* Lilac Eyes * Destressing during the holidays

The lilac look is great more most people whether you have light/fair features, or whether you have dark features. Purple is very hot now and will continue to be so. Also the Lilac look is such a great fresh look for the summer. You can also substitute a sky or powder blue to achieve the same effect. Blue shadows will dull blue eyes so I would skip blues all together. Go with purple or gray if you want a cool effect. When you are wearing Lilac eyes you want to make the rest of your face subtle. It's all about the "Focus on one Feature rule."

FACE
Before applying foundation to your face, put some moisturizer on your face first. It makes the foundation go on easier therefor you'll be able to blend it better. There are also moisturizers that are tinted and have foundation in them if you don't want heavy coverage or don't need it at all. More blend able tinted foundations contain sunscreen.

To make your nose look smaller, dust a light brown power on the sides. Make sure the color you use is the natural shadowing your skin would have. Not everyone would use brown some may use a red or pinkish purple color. Depending on they're coloring. Basically a shade darker than your skin color for a shadow effect.

For long lasting makeup :

  1. Apply concealer and foundation first so eye makeup mistakes will be easy to fix.
  2. Next set with loose power in the t-zone and eyes.
  3. Apply eye makeup and blush and use a nude or natural lip liner, color lips and blot with tissue.
  4. Lightly dust a tiny bit of lose powder over lips and add one last coat of lipstick.
  5. Put a line of lipstick on each cheek, lightly blend into skin for a cream blush. Plus it'll match your lipstick perfectly. **Though if you have sensitive skin don't try this, or oily skin**
  6. Sensitive or oily skin should try powder or gel blush. Some gel blushes come in a easy to use pop up tube.

More tips and tricks coming soon! Next de-stressing during the fall and winter season.

Finally the Holidays!:

Everyone is buying gifts, singing songs, getting into the Holiday spirit, and many people are stressed out.

Here's what to do.

  • Take a bubble bath when no ones home or go to a nice hotel or spa for the half the day. This relieves tons of stress and tension. If you just want to take a bath at home. That's great too.
  • Put some small candles in your bathroom and light them. You can make the candles scented or not. Remember though, the candles shouldn't have a strong smell to them since you want to relieve stress not get a headache from smelling strong Oder's.
  • Try a cup of hot herbal tea. Teas are becoming increasingly popular and maybe more popular than coffee in the U.S. Many coffee shop now serve an assortment of tea flavors including jasmine. If low on cash or you may just want to be home, I mean how at ease are you at home relaxing, try some Sleepy Time Tea.
  • One last way to do this is to sleep. You can even go to a friends house and take a nap or a few hours. When you wake up you'll feel refreshed.
  • Try using essential oil bath salts or just plain bath salts.
  • Soup or a hot meal is very soothing. I know common sense stuff.
  • Warm cozy sock or a good book curled up in your warm bed.
  • Try not waking tv in your room a few hours before going to bed if your having trouble sleeping.

    Skin care for winter:
  1. Sleep more during the winter season you'll feel better and refreshed for the day.
  2. Put a little more moisturizer on and exfoliate your skin 1-2 times a week. That is about the amount of times your skin naturally exfoliates when your in your teenage years.

Take care of yourself and as always skin is in.

Natural Beauty Tips

Here are some of my beauty tips of the month.

If you take some champagne and blend it with a little bit of sugar. Mix it in the palm of your hand and apply it with your fingers to your face.
This is a very natural, and one of the best, and most affective method for exfoliating.

Dark Chocolate is not only very good for your mood, but your well being, & health. But when applied as a mask it rewinds time just a bit. Mix the chocolate with a little bit of milk, it makes an excellent facial mask. Try it sometime!

Chocolate itself contains many good benefit the the body like antioxidants that can maintain heart health, lowers blood pressure. In terms of the human psyche, chocolate can cause feelings of relaxation and happiness, but it is also useful for chocolate beauty.

How can chocolate benefit for beauty?

For beauty, chocolate can help improve the beauty. Ingredients found in chocolate has many benefits for the skin, for example, serves to maintain softness, moisturize, tighten and refine the skin. Antioxidants can help slow the aging process by preventing or diminishing wrinkles on the face. Most of the help comes from preventing damage and repairing skin of damage.

Making chocolate facial mask can be done at home. For you who want to try using chocolate for your face, can try the following ways:

* Material:
Dark chocolate (high cocoa content), white powdered milk (full cream), honey, salt

* Ways:
1. Melt chocolate
2. Mix all ingredients in chocolate that has melted and stir well
3. Refrigerate until it reaches room temperature
4. Apply on face for 15-30 minutes

(Optional) Milk and honey can also be replaced with butter, green tea and sugar if you want to provide moisture and antiseptic effect on the face.

For the skin, you can make chocolate soap. How to brew white milk chocolate blended with chopped chocolate until melted, then can be mixed with liquid soap or poured in a bathtub.

Not into chocolate? Another Alternative to chocolate mask are berries they have high content of antioxidants. Starting with Cranberries, Raspberries, Blueberries & Strawberries.

Berry Facial Mask
Mix yogurt, honey and strawberries or any other fruit or berries for a great mask. It helps naturally shrink the pores, improve the look of the skin, helps lightening and even out skin tones. Apply to your face and leave it on for 15 minutes or as little or long as you desire. I would suggest no longer than 30 minutes.

Old methods for a natural mask are the following:

1) 1 egg, milk, lemon juice. (Apply the mask as above).

2) oatmeal, honey, and avocado. ( same as above).

I hope you will enjoy reading and using these skincare beauty tips.
I will change and update this blog. Thanks.

Skincare Basics

With new creams and ingredients being launched every day, it's easy to get confused by all the options. Low budget but need the beauty basics?

The only products you need. Back to basics.

Unless you're willing to spend time on your skin care routine every day by, you'll need to pick and choose which basics are right for you. Here, the bare minimum that you need:

Sunscreen: It's a must, essential for preventing sun damage and lowering your risk of developing skin cancer. A face cream with Aloe smooths skin, alpha-hydroxy acids (AHAs) and vitamin C -- practically the perfect all-purpose face lotion. *Beware if you have sensitive skin and do not use AHA (Alpha-Hydroxy Acids).

Eye cream: The skin under your eyes is more delicate and dry than the skin on the rest of your face. It's wise to invest in an eye cream, which treats the eye area with more emollient moisturizers. Try That Girl's Bath and Body's Eye Cream.
Retinols: If you're concerned with wrinkles and pigmentation spots, a face cream with retinal (a derivative of vitamin A) can help. Use it in place of your daytime, SPF moisturizer after you wash your face at night. Try That Girl's Bath & Body's Day Time Moisturizer.Body lotion with Shea Butter, Aloe Vera, and Super Omegas: A lotion with skin-sloughing shea butter smooths your whole body, including hands, feet, arms, and legs. For tough dry spots, apply extra lotion before bed and let it soak in while you sleep. Try That Girl's Body Cream.

Instant Style

To make glossy or wet evening glamorous eyeshadow trick:
Take dry eye shadow and apply first to your eyes as normal.
Next, take some gloss or petroleum jelly and apply a thin layer all over your lids over top of your eye shadow. Let it dry.

* Try not to apply too much. For a daytime dewy youthful look apply a small amount to your lids. This will create a youthful glow to your eyes. You may want to only wear a touch where the light would hit you naturally. Like on the brow line for a natural look.

Lighten Skin Naturally:
Take chick peas and mix them with water to make a paste. Then apply mixture to your face. Old remedy to help lighten dark spots. Though modern creams work wonders today like our new day cream or are overnight anti-aging cream.

Instant Style: Pull yourself together- fast
Rushing out of the house and don't have much time to pull yourself together?

Here's a couple of tips:

1) Put on red lipstick- it instantly pulls you together .

2) Pull up hair at the back of your neck in a low pony tail. Twist hair in a French twist . Do this by twisting hair around in a circle wrapping it around its self. Then pull it and wrap it like your making a bun. Pull hair throw the low bun. Make sure their is a opening. Let a few strands poke up and use bobby bins to secure.

Very easy with practice.

Super Omega 3, 6, 9; Why We Use Them

Borage Seed Oil:
For more than 1500 years, the blue, star-shaped flowers of the borage plant have been used in elixirs and medicinal teas because of its healing properties. This natural oil is a rich source of gamma linolenic acid and has been known to be used in the treatment of eczema and rheumatoid arthritis and in herbal medicine. This oil is cold pressed from the seeds of the borage plant. Borage oil, or "starflower", as the botanical is known, contains up to 24% Gamma Linolenic Acid (GLA). GLA is an essential fatty acid which the body converts into prostaglandin, a hormone-like substance. Prostaglandin is reported to offer anti-inflammatory properties. In many studies it has been found that a deficiency in GLA attributes to poor skin condition, especially psoriasis and eczema. Blue Accents at the 2008 VMA's

All shades of cool blue from icy shadow to dark navy liner, one thing is for sure — the 9/07/2008 VMAs. I love how Stephanie Pratt, and Pink went for frosty versions to bring brightness to their eyes. Rihanna and Ashlee Simpson opted for a more smoky rocker chick or edgy look, while Christina Aguilera added her own unique take on Cleopatra/Tammy Faye baker trend. Do you think you'll be wearing any of these blue-hued looks? No way, at least I hope not. You need a natural verison. Do try the night drama during the day and as most trends it is less intense off the run way or in this case red carpet.

Personal I don't think anyone should wear blue unless you make it look natural like the dark liner or light silvery kind. At least they are not wearing it with a noticeable blue eyeshadow or mascara. The 70's or 60's are so over.

Another Trend Alert:

I see that bangs are back again. That is if they ever went out this year. Ever since I saw Katie Holmes spotting them many months back they seems bigger than ever. Well you where right mom to get wispy thin bangs again they are back in all shapes and sizes not just thick and chunky anymore.

And snake print and many other animal prints are not going away anytime soon this year. You will find them mostly in accessories. Metallic's are still fashionable in purses and dull 1980's gray in boots. Boots still very hot right now in low booties, knee length lace up boots, and thigh highs. I see black glossy Vinyl is back in trenches and boots. I accept to see it more at movie or music awards.
